A Day on the Columbia River

Aunt Susie's friend Doug offered to take us out on his boat today. Doug lives in his boat round the year. He needed to go to get gas and he graciously offered to take us out on the Columbia River with him. We headed south on the Columbia River towards the town of St. Helens, OR. Docia, Darin, my mom, Susie, Doug, and Susie's friend Colleen all boarded the boat at 1pm and had an extremely enjoyable afternoon. The weather was beautiful; mid 70s and the water was extremely calm. We were able to see Mount St. Helens and Mount Hood in the distance. It was a fun afternoon topped of by an evening at and all-you-can-eat Izzys with Grandma Winnie, Grandpa Bill, cousin Marcus & Katie and the Hines family.
