We will miss our lovely Grandma Larsen
Our beloved Grandma Geneva Larsen passed away today at the age of 92. She was a beautiful lady who was gracious and dignified in all she did. We are happy that she has been reunited with her sweetheart, Vaughn Larsen, but we will miss her greatly. We all hope to live a long and happy life as she did with her watching over us as our guardian angel. We love you, Grandma.

Videos of Grandma Larsen during our visit in December 2008. We didn't know this would be our final goodbye in person. We love you Grandma

Trunk or Treat

No....we're not Philidelphia baseball fans that were punched in the eye by Boston Red Sox fans. Leave your guess in the comments field and we'll confirm.
With another costume event, the kids, minus Ashton and Wyatt, wanted to come up with new costumes.
Emy as an Indian girl!
This was Emy's night to wear the Indian dress outfit that I brought home from my August trip to India.
Logan as a basketball player
We had another great night. The kids got more candy and we had fun socializing with the members of the ward.

Happy Halloween 2008
We had a fun night tonight. The kids decided they wanted to go trick-or-treating in the "Liberty Pole" development in Hingham. The development is huge and the homes are closer together making it much more kid friendly than our development. It was a beautiful, warm evening which made for lots of houses visited. On to the fun.....
Now introducing the cast of characters we had in our home on Halloween.....

Wyatt as the fierce Pterodactyl.
While I was in India this past August (post still pending...150 pictures worth), I bought all the kids Indian dress clothes. Logan wanted to wear his outfit to pay tribute to the people of India. I absolutely loved it there and the kids loved the pictures and gifts I brought home.
If you know Emy, this was the only logical choice for Halloween. She LOVES High School Musical. In fact, Daddy had the great honor of taking her to the movie on opening day 10/24.

This is one of those costumes that can't easily be worn for long as the head piece obstructs vision. Isn't Wyatt was the cutest (I mean fiercest) Pterodactyl you've ever seen?
Ashton as the Lion.
Ashton was a trooper and kept trick-or-treating until the very last minute. He was excited to get all the great CANNIE at the different homes.
All in all, we had a wonderful evening. The kids made sure to get plenty of peanut butter cups for daddy as I made sure they were aware of the mandatory daddy tax on all Halloween candy. I explained to them that they are lucky my rates aren't as high as the government. They've been very concerned about taxes lately with the election coming up. I could insert my political comments in here like taking more candy away from kids that got over 250 pieces and giving it to kids who got less. It doesn't matter if the kids who got 250 pieces spent 2-3 times as long trick or treating..if they got more..they should give it to those who didn't go at all or only spent 20 minutes..right??? Anyway, back to Halloween. Happy Halloween everyone!!!

All Emy wants for Christmas...
Is her big front tooth she lost tonight. She was brave and allowed mommy and daddy a chance to wiggle and jiggle the tooth. She then let daddy tie dental floss to the tooth and perform a quick yank and the tooth was out. Isn't she cute? Congratulations Emy! We love you!
